I am happy with my purchase. The lights are solid metal compared to my old plastic Malibu sidewalk lights, except for the plastic stake in the ground. Maybe this is good as the plastic is less likely to deteriorate. They stand higher, which is good if you have flowers or ornamental vegetation around them. Mine came with the 2 watt LED bulbs and these are plenty bright.
However they came with wire nuts vs low voltage connectors. I ordered the connectors separate which is a quick and better connection. To use the wire nuts you need to strip 6 wires and put 3 each in the nut, if you are not on your last light and continuing the light string. n last light you need to strip 4 wires. This is too much cutting of your low voltage power line. (Posted on 4/3/2022)

Since Malibu went out of business it has been almost impossible to find replacement pagoda lights. Almost all are made cheaply, corrode quickly, and the three screws that hold them together are almost always iron, so they rust and won't come out so you can replace the bulb or clean the glass cage. These are perfect. Made better than the original Malibus, use stainless bolts, and come with an LED bulb with just the right brightness. Note: still a good idea when you put the bulb in initially to dab some wheel bearing grease, or similar, on the lower inch of threads. you'll be glad you did in the long run. (Posted on 1/19/2021)
